What’s new at Miami restaurants this season


COYO Taco

Miami’s first taqueria/speakeasy serving authentic Mexican fare with local and organic ingredients welcomed its fifth South Florida outpost in Fort Lauderdale and will feature inventive tacos for season like the new Campechano taco (made with pork cracklings!), Chicharron Bowls and festive tamales for the holidays. COYO speakeasies feature 50+ tequilas and mezcals and play host to musical guests like Diplo and Walshy Fire throughout season.

 

 

Dante’s HiFi

Miami’s first vinyl listening bar dedicated to the analog audiophile music culture opened in Wynwood in an intimate and soulful space where guests can expect authentic, HiFi musical experiences from globally recognized artists in a LoFi, comfortable setting. With a state-of-the-art sound system, audiophiles will appreciate an extensive library of vinyl records from resident Music Director Rich Medina’s personal collection, plus celebrity guest DJs popping in all season long. Expect celebrity sightings and top globally recognized talent this season.

 

 

Meraki Greek Bistro

Meraki (Downtown and Coconut Grove) is welcoming season with a new chef-driven, elevated menu focused on family-style and simply prepared Greek dishes along with natural wines from micro wineries in Greece. A new seasonal wine dinner series will pair Chef Kotsos’ new dishes with a selection of hard-to-find Greek wines.

 

 

Saloni Bar by Meraki

Debuted in July, the intimate neighborhood bar adjacent to Meraki in Downtown Miami is inspired by Athens’ modern metropolis and focuses on natural wine, local craft beer and fresh-pressed cocktails. Celebrated local musician Wizzmer will host EL JAM by Wizzmer, where a curated group of multicultural and diverse special guests take over every Wednesday for a one-of-a-kind electric musical performance.

 

 

Osteria Morini Miami Beach

The West Avenue neighborhood’s hotspot for authentic Northern Italian cuisine by award-winning New York-based Altamarea Group is kicking off season with a new live music series on Friday nights with Morini After Dark featuring global sounds from international artists curated by local Tigre Sounds, a music discovery platform for citizens of the world and B3: Boozy Brunch and Beats featuring rotating DJs and bottomless mix-and-match cocktails every Saturday.

 

 

Wynwood Brewing Company

Miami’s first Craft Production Brewery Wynwood Brewing Company was founded in 2013,and deeply rooted in its founders’ Puerto Rican heritage and namesake neighborhood, the Wynwood arts district. Home of La Rubia Blonde Ale, and the Official Local Beer of the Miami HEAT, Wynwood Brewing Company’s objective is to bring fresh, delicious, and creative beers to thirsty South Floridians and tourists alike, they operate a 15-barrel brewhouse and distribute a variety of everyday, seasonal and limited beer offerings throughout South Florida. This December during Miami Art Week they will introduce their next artist collaboration series in collaboration with aritst Juan Salgado who will design the artwork for the next can and limited edition brew, as well as paint the exterior of the brewery, to be released and debuted during Miami Art Week.
