Up Next: Bouncing Back Quickly, Key Matchup in Columbus


Inter Miami CF will look to bounce back quickly after falling on the road against the New York Red Bulls over the weekend. The squad now turns its attention to Wednesday’s road match against the Columbus Crew. Here’s what’s up next for the team.

Monday – Training; Heron Talk: Phil Neville and Ariel Lassiter

The team returned to the training grounds and began preparations for Wednesday’s fixture against the Columbus Crew. Head coach Phil Neville and winger Ariel Lassiter addressed media members following the team’s training session. Tuesday – Training and Travel

After Tuesday’s training session, the team will travel to Columbus, Ohio for the first meeting of the 2022 regular season against the Columbus Crew.

Wednesday – Columbus Crew vs. Inter Miami CF, 7:30 p.m. ET at Lower.com Field | My33, UniMás App, Inter Miami App

Inter Miami CF will look to bounce back on the road when it takes on the Columbus Crew Wednesday night at Lower.com Field. Both teams will enter the pivotal match with 36 points, with both sides sitting above the playoff line with Inter Miami in sixth place and Columbus Crew in seventh in the Eastern Conference standings.

Additionally, Inter Miami CF and Cervecería La Tropical will unveil a co-branded limited edition Inter Miami CF and La Tropical themed beer can on Wednesday, Aug. 31. The can will hold La Original, Ámbar Lager, and will first be available at an invite-only watch party event at Cervecería La Tropical (42 NE 25th Street, Wynwood) for Inter Miami’s road fixture against the Columbus Crew.

At the event fans will also have the opportunity to participate in a raffle to win official club merchandise and interact with Inter Miami CF broadcast talent and event hosts Kalyn Kyle and Fernando Fiore.

Thursday – Off

After playing two matches in five days, the team will take Thursday off to rest and recover.

Friday and Saturday – Training

The team will get back on the training pitch as it looks ahead to a third consecutive road fixture against Chicago Fire FC on Saturday, Sept. 10.

Saturday – Inter Miami CF II vs. Toronto FC II, 7 p.m. E.T at DRV PNK Stadium

Inter Miami CF II will look to extend its unbeaten streak to nine matches when it hosts Toronto FC II in the first of two meetings in three weeks between the two sides. Kickoff at DRV PNK Stadium is set for 7 p.m. E.T and will be streamed live on MLSNEXTPro.com. Tickets for the match are available HERE.
