Large police procession leaves Miami Valley Hospital after officer-involved shooting in Clark Co. – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio


DAYTON — A large motorcade made up of Clark County Sheriff’s Deputies and other law enforcement vehicles left before 6:30 p.m. and headed toward downtown Dayton. They were outside Miami Valley Hospital Sunday afternoon around 4 p.m. to check on two Clark County deputies injured in an officer-involved shooting at the Harmony Estates Mobile Home Park in Clark County Sunday.

News Center 7′s Haley Kosik followed the procession and reported that it ended at the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

The incident in Clark County has been confirmed by Ohio BCI.

A Clark County Sheriff’s Deputy is in critical condition after being shot, law enforcement sources told News Center 7′s Mike Campbell.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office and BCI have not provided any information about the deputies, the injuries they sustained, and their conditions.

At least more than dozen law enforcement cruisers from different departments were on hand including Dayton Police, Premiere Health officers, troopers and deputies.

News Center 7′s Haley Kosik reports two CareFlight units were called to the scene, we don’t know if CareFlight took any of the sheriff’s deputies to Miami Valley Hospital.
