Once featured in ‘Miami Vice,’ an extremely ’80s Florida house is now for sale | Tampa

A home that was once featured in the popular 80s sitcom “Miami Vice,” starring Don Johnson, is now on the market in South Florida.

Located at 4994 Hammock Lake Dr., in Coral Gables, the 4,884-square-foot contemporary modern home was actually the setting for a grizzly murder in the opening scene of season four’s “Deliver Us From Evil” episode.

In the scene, career criminal Frank Hackman is fresh off death row, and after breaking into the home with his hired goons, he murders the family living there.

Of course, the crook is later killed by Johnson’s character James Crockett, who shoots Hackman in the chest after he says he wouldn’t kill an unarmed man.

Crockett then delivers the best line of the episode-  “wrong!”

Well, now you can own a piece of “Miami Vice” history.

The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home was built in 1987, and as you can see in the photos below, it really hasn’t changed that much at all.  In fact, a lot of the original finishes, artwork and tile are still in place, and if you need a perm, there’s even a full blown salon.

The home is currently asking $4.2 million and the listing agent is Lisa Fox of Coldwell Banker Realty.
