1. A Broward County man in Pompano Beach has been arrested, accused in the disappearance and killing of his wife. Police are still looking for the body of the victim in this case after of Sunday evening, but the victim’s husband is now facing a murder charge. (WPLG Local 10)
2. An anonymous tenant has agreed to lease a Key Biscayne estate featured in the 2006 film “Miami Vice” for $100,000 a month. The 8,234-square-foot home at 400 South Mashta Drive boasts 480 linear feet on the water and a 70-foot concrete dock big enough to accommodate a 120-foot yacht. (The Real Deal – Miami)
3. Miami Herald Food Editor Carlos FrÃas was the winner of the Jonathan Gold Local Voice Award in the journalism category on Saturday night, which recognizes reporters who engage with the community through food and dining coverage. (Miami Herald)
4. A boy was fatally shot by an adult female family member in South Florida’s Pembroke Pines on Saturday night. The incident occurred at 6:27 p.m. inside the Coconut Reef community at 180th Avenue and SW 12th Street. (NBC Miami)
5. A Hialeah woman is facing charges after police said her nail polish helped track her down. Christina Marie Hernandez, 29, is charged with 13 counts of possessing child pornography images. Investigators said the accused would upload the videos on the messaging app “Kik” through her own account. (CBS Miami)

- Three Doral Policers Officers were recognized with the highest honors at the South Florida Police Benevolent Association’s (SFPBA) 2022 Law Enforcement Awards Gala. Officers Johnny Beautelus, Daniel Vilarchao and Raffaello Cervera were all named “Officers of the Year.” (Miami’s Community News)
