MATCH PREVIEW: Inter Miami II to Face New England Revolution II in Rematch

Inter Miami CF II is back in action this week in its second game of a two-game home stay at DRV PNK Stadium, facing the New England Revolution II for the second time this season. The match will kick off at 7 p.m. ET on June 4, and will be streamed on mlsnextpro.com.

Previously, Inter Miami II narrowly fell to New York City FC II, in a match that saw Romeo Beckham notch his fifth assist of the 2022 MLS NEXT Pro campaign, and Jairo Quinteros, on loan from the First Team, score his first goal in all competitions for Inter Miami. Beckham’s five assists puts him tied for the league lead in assists.

New England Revolution II is coming off a string of narrow victories, defeating Philadelphia Union II, FC Cincinnati 2 and Toronto FC II by 1-0 margins. Most recently against the Philadelphia Union II, Meny Silva scored the lone goal and opened his tally with the club, but goalkeeper José Jackson was the hero on the night as he recorded nine saves to preserve a clean sheet and all three points for New England.

Inter Miami II currently sits at sixth in the MLS NEXT Pro Eastern Conference standings, with ten points (3W-6L-1D), trailing second placed New England (6W-1L-2D).

Inter Miami CF II announced the acquisition of two First Team players on loan, pending league and federation approval. Under the terms of the loan agreement, the Inter Miami First Team retains the rights to recall all players at any point during the remainder of the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance and guidelines. The club has loaned goalkeeper CJ dos Santos and defender Noah Allen to Inter Miami II for Saturday’s match.
