April 28, 2022 (Miami, FL) – Miami’s leading wine and sake shop, 305 Wines, now offers the largest portfolio of sake in Florida. Co-founded by Master Sake Sommelier, Guilherme de Macedo and Master of Wine candidate, Alessandra Esteves, 305 Wines continues to make its mark as the leading provider of high-quality sakes from top Japanese producers, and a destination for wine lovers.

The bespoke shop offers over 80 labels of sake for the sake enthusiast and curious wine drinker that range from hard-to-locate producers to everyday favorites. With limited selections like Dassai Beyond and the luxurious Tatsuriki “Nihon no Sakura Gold” Junmai Daiginjo – featuring infused gold flakes – 305 Wines has become a South Florida staple to purchase sake. The boutique wine shop also offers a selection of 180ml canned sake, serving as a ready and easy-to-drink option for a signature Miami boat day.

305 Wines originally launched as an online shop in 2019, offering a special selection of wines around the world and sakes from Japan carefully handpicked by the founders. After success in the e-commerce space, founders Alessandra Esteves, MAES, DipWSET, FWS, CSW, MW candidate, and Guilherme de Macedo, MBA, MSS, WSET Level 3 Certified, Kikisake-Shi, expanded their services with the opening of a retail location in November 2020. Since then, 305 Wines has built a loyal customer base with its exceptional customer service, fast shipping and delivery, and a team of knowledgeable and friendly staff. The Master of Wine candidate and Master Sake Sommelier are also founders of Florida Wine Academy, the leading provider of wine, spirits and sake education in Florida. The organization is an approved program provider for WSET (Wine Spirits & Education Trust), the Wine Scholar Guild and the Sake Sommelier Association.

“Our goal at 305 Wines is to make sake approachable,” says Guilherme. “We want customers to feel like they are getting an experience when shopping, with one-on-one assistance and recommendations from a team who understands our variety of brands and flavor profiles,” he added.

The focus on education is the element that sets 305 Wines apart from competing wine and sake retailers. 305 Wines’ knowledgeable team makes shopping easy, offering professional guidance and recommendations to help customers choose the best sake for them. Guilherme de Macedo is a Master Sake Sommelier (MSS) by the Sake Sommelier Association (SSA). He is a WSET Certified Sake Educator, International Kikisake-Shi and Japanese Sake Adviser by the SSI (Sake Service Institute). Guilherme is also a Certified Sake Professional by the Sake Education Council. Additionally, he holds the WSET Level 1 certification in Spirits, Court of Master Sommelier Level 1 and passed the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits with distinction.

305 Wines also curates sake packs to help advance the customer’s palate.
