Another Fast-Growing Tech Company Announces Miami HQ Office, Saying Its The Best Choice – The Next Miami

Grover, A Berlin-based tech startup, has just announced plans for a U.S. headquarters office at Brickell City Tower.

In an interview with Forbes, CEO Michael Cassau gave at least three major reasons why Miami was the best choice for the new HQ, and why he’s bullish on the city:

  • Government support:  According to Cassau, Miami is unique in the support given to startups by government. The company was actually able to secure a meeting with the city, he said. It is perhaps one of the only cities globally that moves in parallel with fast growth startups, he added.
  • Talent wants to move here: Cassau said that the engineers and executives that the company needs either want to move here or already have plans to do so.
  • Development: There’s lots of development going on in Miami, unlike San Francisco. The city can better handle a huge influx of companies moving here. “I think Miami has a big opportunity to expand as a city,” he said.

Grover already has 20 employees working here, and plans to expand to over 100 Miami employees by year end.
