Up Next: Yedlin Trains, Charleston Bound

Inter Miami CF got its fourth week of the 2022 preseason underway today, training at the Inter Miami CF Training Center. On Thursday, the club will host a press conference introducing USMNT fullback DeAndre Yedlin. On Friday, the team will head on its first preseason trip of the year, traveling to Charleston, South Carolina, where it will stay for nine days. The team will kick off the trip with its first Carolina Challenge Cup friendly on Saturday.

The First Team started its fourth week of preseason with a training session at Inter Miami CF Training Center on Monday, Feb. 7. The boys will then hold a double training session on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

The players will have the day off on Wednesday, Feb. 9 to recharge batteries ahead of finishing up a busy week.

On Thursday, Feb. 10 following the team’s training session, the club’s newest signing, USMNT fullback Yedlin, will speak to the media for the first time as an Inter Miami player at a press conference at DRV PNK Stadium. Assistant coach Jason Kreis will also speak at the press conference. Stay tuned to the club’s social media channels to follow his comments.

On Friday, Feb. 11, the boys will carry out its last training session of the week at Inter Miami CF Training prior to its first trip of the 2022 preseason, as the team will be traveling to Charleston for a training camp and a series of friendlies as part of the Carolina Challenge Cup.

Inter Miami will face fellow MLS side Columbus Crew on Saturday, Feb. 12 in its first fixture in the Carolina Challenge Cup preseason tournament taking place at Patriots Point in Charleston. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET.
