Wind Chill Advisory issued for northern Miami Valley; Warm-up expected next week – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio


A Wind Chill Advisory has been issued for AuglaizeChampaignClarkLoganMiamiShelby and Union counties until 10 a.m.

DETAILED FORECAST:

TODAY: It will be very cold to begin today with lows in the single digits and wind chills below zero.

It will be mostly sunny with highs only reaching the lower 20s during the afternoon. Clouds will increase for Saturday night. It won’t be as frigid, but it will still be cold with lows in the teens.

SUNDAY: Partly cloudy skies for Sunday. Highs closer to normal in the lower to middle 30s.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny and chilly. Highs in the middle to upper 30s.

TUESDAY: Partly sunny and noticeably warmer for Tuesday. High temperatures rebound to the upper 40s, possibly 50 degrees for Tuesday. A slight chance of a shower arriving late in the day.

WEDNESDAY: Cloudy with rain showers likely. Precipitation may briefly begin as snow across the northern Miami Valley before transitioning to all rain for the afternoon. High temperatures top out in the low to mid 40s.

THURSDAY: Cloudy with the chance of rain and snow showers. Highs in the lower 40s.

FRIDAY: We’ll see gradually decreasing clouds and much colder. Morning lows will be in the single digits with wind chills below zero. Highs for the afternoon will only reach the upper teens.
