Pedestrian Hit by Car on Turnpike in Miami-Dade – NBC 6 South Florida

A pedestrian ran onto Florida’s Turnpike and was hit by a car, shutting down the southbound side of the highway Monday afternoon, Miami-Dade police said.

Traffic was being diverted to Bird Road.
