CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – A fourth-quarter push helped the Boston College women’s basketball team topple Miami, 79-66, on Sunday afternoon in Conte Forum.

The victory pushes BC to 14-5 and 5-3 in ACC action, while Miami falls to 10-7 and 3-4 in league play.

Taylor Soule had it going with a game-high 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out four assists.

Marnelle Garraud scored 11 of her 14 points in the second half, with three of her four field goals coming from behind the arc. The senior guard did a stellar job of handling Miami’s pressure with only two miscues in 37 minutes.

Ally VanTimmeren put forth a solid effort, scoring 14 points and corralled six off the glass. Cameron Swartz chipped in with 11 points. Makayla Dickens led the team with five assists on top of eight points.
