The two day event features some of the top prospects from all over the country with teams ranging from California to the midwest coming to South Florida to compete.

Saturday’s session was a pool play to set seeding for the elimination portion of the tournament that will be held Sunday.

This upcoming 2023 cycle will be an opportunity for Miami to attract elite talent with it being the first full cycle of head coach Mario Cristobal’s tenure at UM.

Cristobal, regarded as one of the top recruiters in the country, landed top ten classes at Oregon and is expected to bring in a similar level of talent at Miami.

Read on for a look at some of the talent that caught our attention during the first day of competition at Battle Miami.

Note: We primarily focused on watching the teams from South Florida on day one and that is why the majority of these players are from the South Florida Express or Miami Immortals.
