Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are healthcare professionals who provide intimate, hands-on healthcare to patients in medical settings under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). CNAs assist patients with direct health care needs and activities of daily living such as bathing, ambulating and checking vital signs. Students will receive free tuition, books/supplies, uniform, CPR certification, state testing fee and transportation. In addition to free tuition, students will receive books/supplies, uniform, CPR certification, state testing fee and transportation. To apply, visit https://www.mdc.edu/kickstart/cna/.

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program provides learning experiences that enable the student to acquire and assimilate the necessary technical competencies to function effectively as an EMT responding to medical emergencies in the pre-hospital environment. An Emergency Medical Technician is the intermediate care practitioner in Emergency Medical Services. These individuals are the first to arrive on a scene and provide the initial assessment and direct patient care in the pre-hospital environment, as well as in emergency rooms, clinics, and ambulance services. Students will receive free tuition, books, uniform, background check, and a stipend for meals and transportation. To apply, visit https://www.mdc.edu/kickstart/career-in-emt.aspx.
