Inter Miami CF Selects Sailor, Meek, Ingram and Bagley in MLS SuperDraft 2022 Presented by adidas
Sailor, 24, starred in defense for the University of Washington. The central defender made a total 49 appearances for the team, 45 of them starts, scoring 10 times and dishing out three assists in the process. The Centennial, Colo. native also earned several individual accolades during his collegiate career; notably having an accomplished senior year in 2021, being named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2021, being named to the First Team All-America and being named to the All-Pac First Team.
Meek, 23, shone in his four years with the team of the University of Washington. In all, the Mercer Island, Wash. native recorded 48 appearances, 33 starts, and netted 16 goals and registered 13 assists for the Huskies. Individually, the forward, who can also play as a midfielder, earned numerous accolades, among them being named to the 2021 All-Region Second Team, the 2021 All-Pac-12 Second Team and the 2021 Scholar All-American Second Team.
Ingram, 24, is a two-time Patriot League Midfielder of the Year with Loyola University Maryland. The central midfielder scored seven goals and added 10 assists while leading the Greyhounds to the 2021 Patriot League regular season and tournament championships. The Indianapolis, Ind., native was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region First Team for a second year in a row this season. In his three years as a starter at Loyola, Ingram recorded a total of 44 appearances, contributing to 13 goals and 18 assists.
Bagley, a 22-year-old attacking midfielder, excelled at Cornell University over the course of four seasons. In that time, he totalled 65 appearances, 48 of them starts, netting 17 goals and registering 16 assists. Bagley starred in his final collegiate season, earning Ivy League Player of the Week honors twice, United Soccer Coaches Player of the Week honors once, Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week honors twice and Top Drawer Soccer Player of the Week honors once; Bagley amassed an impressive total of 14 goals and seven assists in just 16 matches in the 2021-22 season.
