Building starts collapsing as Miami crews battle fire

MIAMI, Okla. – Crews in Miami battle a fully engulfed fire at a vacant storage building.

A Miami Fire Department crew member says they got the call around 9:37 am this morning, Jan. 10, 2022. When crews got to the fire at 502 C. Street, they found a building fully engulfed with flames and billowing black smoke.

Within 10 minutes of crews being there, the front wall collapsed.

According to a man who works with the owner of the building, it was a vacant storage building. However, there were appliances they planned to fix inside. He says the owner of the building just had the power turned on Friday.
