11 prospects in the 2022 cycle Miami should pursue heavily between now and National Signing Day

The early signing period has come and gone for the 2022 cycle, but there are still plenty of quality players for Mario Cristobal and the Miami staff to chase.

And with nine players signed after the early signing period, UM has plenty of space to add quality players.

This article looks to highlight the best players that remain in the 2022 cycle at some of UM’s key positions of need.

Miami’s class currently ranks No. 49 overall in the country.

The Hurricanes have signed plenty of quality with eight of the nine signees ranking as four-star prospects, according to the 247Sports Composite. Two of those players rank as Top 100 players in the country. Four more of the signees rank as Top247 prospects.

UM’s average recruit ranking checks in at 92.12, which currently ranks as the second best in the ACC. Clemson’s average score of 92.20 ranks as the best in the ACC.

There are a few positions that Miami could attack between now and the February National Signing Day: running back, offensive line, defensive line, linebacker, and cornerback.

During a press conference on the early signing period, Mario Cristobal made it clear that he would like to finish this cycle with a total of 16-20 additions to the class.

Who are some of the remaining high school prospects to know that could fit Miami’s needs in the 2022 cycle?

Read on for a look at 11 talented prospects from around the country.

Note: The following list does not include WR Kevin Coleman and DE Cyrus Moss, who are both set to announce their college decisions on January 8th at the All-American Bowl.
