Real Estate Mogul Sues Anonymous Critic in Miami Over Online ‘Smear Campaign’

JDS Development and real estate developer Michael Stern filed a defamation lawsuit Friday in Miami-Dade Circuit Court, accusing a John Doe, allegedly a competitor, of orchestrating a coordinated smear campaign on several social media platforms and creating a website to spread false and defamatory information.

The plaintiffs, represented by Stearns Weaver Miller and Clare Locke, want to uncover who is defaming them and hold them accountable.
