Gunfire breaks out on Christmas Eve in Miami Gardens

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Christmas Eve turned violent in the Bunche Park neighborhood of Miami Gardens Tuesday evening.

Neighbors reported hearing a barrage of gunfire in the 16000 block of Northwest 18th Avenue at around 9 or 9:30 p.m. They said they got on their hands and knees, ducking for cover.

Police had at least one person detained.

Miami Gardens police haven’t provided information about the incident, including whether there were any victims.
