Bam Adebayo sits out Miami Heat season finale due to Health & Safety Protocols
Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo will sit out the season finale against the Orlando Magic (7 ET, League Pass) for Health & Safety Protocols, the team announced Sunday afternoon.
Adebayo has not missed a game since returning from injury on Jan. 17. The 24-year-old big man is averaging a career-high 19.1 points along with 10.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.8 blocks while shooting 55.7% from the field.

Miami entered the final day of the regular season already set with the best record and top playoff seed in the Eastern Conference. The Heat will play the second East survivor of the Play-In Tournament in the first round of the 2022 playoffs.
