New York Red Bulls hit four past Inter Miami in stunning home victory.

The Herons were looking to prove that they can perform without Lionel Messi but were behind after just two minutes when Lewis Morgan came back to haunt his former team. NYRB could have been further ahead in the first half but were held to a one-goal lead at the break. 

Soon after halftime they doubled their advantage as Morgan added a second. He turned provided 15 minutes later and made a stunning attacking run to set up Wikelman Carmona for the Red Bulls’ third of the game. Shortly after Morgan scored again to complete his hat trick and secure a resounding 4-0 victory for NYRB. Incredibly, the impressive Dante Vanzier claims the assists for all four goals. 

It’s a wake-up call for Inter Miami but today is all about the resurgent New York Red Bulls, who put in a performance that ranks among the very best that we’ve seen from an MLS side in 2024.
