Detectives investigate death of woman found in Miami-Dade lake

Police officers find a woman unconscious in a lake on Saturday in deep south Miami-Dade County’s Fasulo Park.

Florida City police officers tried to save the woman’s life at the park near South Redland Road and Southwest 352 Street near the Navy Wells Pineland Preserve.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel took the woman to a hospital where a doctor pronounced her dead. According to Detective Angel Rodriguez, Miami-Dade Police Department spokesman, detectives were investigating her death.
