Lionel Messi walked out by Kim Kardashian’s son at first LA game in MLS
Lionel Messi led Inter Miami out the tunnel against LA Galaxy accompanied by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s ‘soccer-obsessed’ son Saint West before Sunday’s MLS game
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s son Saint was the mascot that walked out with Lionel Messi ahead of Inter Miami’s clash with LA Galaxy on Sunday night.
Saint was at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles for Miami’s second game of the 2024 MLS season. Messi struck late to equalise and snatch a point in the 1-1 draw which had special significance as Inter Miami president and co-founder David Beckham returned to the club he sensationally joined after leaving Real Madrid in 2007.
Before the game kicked off, the eight-year-old Saint walked out onto the field with the eight-time Ballon D’Or winner. Saint is a passionate football fan and shared the incredible experience with Messi a day after he was named to his youth ‘All Star Team’.

Kardashian could barely contain her excitement as she took to X for her 75.1million followers to post: “Saint walking Messi out on the field tonight at the LA Galaxy vs Inter Miami game!!! He is living the absolute dream!”
The World Cup winner had a relatively quiet first half by his lofty standards, but came to life in the second half to salvage a 1-1 draw for the Herons. Dejan Joveljic scored in the 75th minute for the Galaxy, who were on track for victory before being reduced to 10 men after Marco Delgado’s red card.
Messi then scored late to secure a draw. The 36-year-old clipped Jordi Alba pass into the roof of the net to rescue a vital point and sent Miami top of the Eastern Conference following their 2-0 win over Real Salt Lake last week.

Last season, Saint is an Arsenal fan and attended the Europa League clash with Sporting Lisbon. While the Gunners crashed out on penalties, Saint donned a Katie McCabe jersey and got to meet Eddie Nketiah.
Saint celebrated his eighth birthday with a soccer-themed party – which featured a cake in the shape of a larger-than-life soccer ball. Saint also paid tribute to his sporting hero – and former Messi teammate – Neymar on his birthday by imitating his hairstyle.
Back in December, Kardashian branded herself a ‘soccer mom’ as she posted a photo at dinner with Saint, who was collecting football trading cards. Kardashian also co-parents North (10), Chicago (five) and youngest son Psalm (four), with rapper West.
