Woman wounded during shooting near gas station in Miami, police say

MIAMI – A woman was wounded on Friday during a shooting near a gas station in Miami’s Little River area, police said.

The shooting was near the intersection of Northwest First Avenue and 79 Street, according to Officer Kiara Delva, a spokeswoman for the Miami Police Department.

The wounded woman was at Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center and her condition was stable, according to Delva. The shooting was under investigation.

Detectives were asking anyone with information about the case to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
