NFL Star Receiver’s House Catches Fire in Miami
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill and his family were reported safe after a fire broke out in his Miami-area home Wednesday afternoon.
The Associated Press, the New York Post and other news outlets reported that the fire scorched part of the upper floor in the sprawling mansion in Southwest Ranches, northwest of Miami. The home features a putting green, swimming pool and a full-size basketball court. Hill paid almost $7 million for the estate in 2022, the AP reported.
The 29-year-old Hill, one of the most prolific NFL receivers, was at practice Wednesday as the Dolphins prepared for their season finale this weekend. He showed up at the house fire wearing a prosthetic boot on his foot, and was seen comforting his new wife and other family members, according to news reports.
No one was injured in the blaze. A damage estimate and a cause of the fire were not reported.
