Las Vegas Raiders at Miami Dolphins: Game predictions, picks, odds
NFL Week 10 Overreactions
Sports Seriously’s Mackenzie Salmon breaks down games from NFL Week 10.
The Las Vegas Raiders (5-5) are a rejuvenated team, but Antonio Pierce will get his toughest test in his young head coaching tenure when his team visits the Miami Dolphins (6-3).
Things look to be turned around in the Sin City, as the Raiders took down the other New York football team with a “Sunday Night Football” win against the Jets. It has been against lackluster offenses, but the Las Vegas defense has stepped up to give rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell a chance to get acclaimed in the offense.
It was an off week for the high-powered Dolphins, who were last seen losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in Germany. It wasn’t a pretty outing for Miami, as the offense was stagnant against the defending champions. The bye week could be just what Miami needed as they try to win the AFC East.

Lorenzo Reyes: Dolphins 27, Raiders 13
Miami had its bye week to sit with the Chiefs loss and they should course correct against an upstart Raiders team that has been better in recent weeks but simply doesn’t have the speed and athleticism to match. Miami’s defense has also improved so a rookie quarterback may struggle against Vic Fangio’s defense.
Tyler Dragon: Dolphins 30, Raiders 21
The Raiders are 2-0 since Antonio Pierce was named interim head coach. Las Vegas has wins over the two lowly New York franchises. The Dolphins have the No. 1 ranked offense in the NFL and are coming off a bye week. Miami hasn’t defeated a team with a winning record; the 5-5 Raiders don’t have a winning record.
Safid Deen: Dolphins 34, Raiders 13
Antonio Pierce’s run as Raiders interim coach started with wins against the Giants and Jets, two inept offenses in the NFL. And now, they’ll face the most potent offense. Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins should win this one in a blowout.
Victoria Hernandez: Dolphins 32, Raiders 17
The Dolphins will be fresh off their bye week and have only lost on the road so far this season against pretty decent offenses. The Raiders have made a statement with two wins under new leadership, but after a loss to the Chiefs in Germany, Miami will be eager to show their prowess yet again.
Jordan Mendoza: Dolphins 34, Raiders 17
Miami has a knack for blowing out lesser opponents and has scored at least 30 points in each home game. The Raiders have been a great story the past two weeks, but they were against teams that come nowhere close to the Dolphins. Fresh off the bye, Tua Tagovailoa and company breeze by Las Vegas in another blowout win.
