Driver injured after crashing car into wall of home in North Miami Beach

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A driver struck a light pole before crashing into the wall of a home in North Miami Beach, authorities confirmed.

The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of Northeast 181st Street.

According to North Miami Beach police, no one inside the home was injured, but the driver sustained serious injuries.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel transported the driver to a local hospital.

Police said the Florida Highway Patrol was the agency that responded to the accident.

No other details were immediately released.
