NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ Host Chuck Todd Sells Virginia Home for $1.1M
Here’s a scoop: “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd has sold one of his homes in Arlington, VA.
The investment property had been available as a rental for $3,900 a month back in 2016. Last September, Todd placed the Cape Cod-style abode on the market for $1,050,000. It sold a month later for $1,102,100.
It was a nice return on investment—he purchased the property in 2001 for $330,000.
One of his tenants over the years was Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-MN. In 2008, the one-time presidential candidate paid “$3,200/month, plus utilities,” the Star-Tribune reported.
Klobuchar moved into Todd’s three-bedroom home to make room for “visiting grandparents.” Previously, the Minnesota senator had rented a two-bedroom apartment in northern Virginia for $2,800 a month.
Todd and the senator faced off, but not about landlord-tenant issues. He helped moderate one of the Democratic debates during the presidential primary season in 2020, when Klobuchar threw her hat in the ring.
There’s no debating this home’s charm. Freshly painted and move-in ready, the home features three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and 2,261 square feet.

Prior to his TV career, the Miami native served as editor-in-chief of National Journal’s “The Hotline” for six years. He transitioned to a television career, becoming the NBC News political director in 2007, and provided on-air analysis, and later worked as chief White House correspondent. In 2014, he took over the hosting job of “Meet the Press,” as well as “MTP Daily” on MSNBC.
