Chris Graves, former 4-star Miami CB, reveals 2 SEC transfer finalists
Chris Graves has narrowed down his list of transfer destinations to a pair of schools in the SEC.
The former Miami cornerback, a 4-star recruit in the class of 2022, redshirted during his lone season in Coral Gables without seeing any game action. He then announced on July 19 that he would enter the transfer portal.
Now, Graves appears to be SEC-bound. He revealed to On3’s Matt Zenitz on Sunday that he will decide between Ole Miss and Texas A&M.
Graves, considered an athlete by 247Sports, was the 7th-ranked player with that designation in the class of 2022. He was also ranked the No. 125 recruit nationally.
After spending a year in the ACC with the Hurricanes, though, the Fort Myers, Fla. product will head out of state to play in the SEC, whether it’s in Oxford or College Station.
Miami went 5-7 (3-5 ACC) in 2022, Mario Cristobal’s 1st season at the helm of the program.
