Clemson falls to Miami – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

Coral Springs, Fla. – The Clemson Women’s Tennis team (6-3, 0-2 ACC) fell to Miami (7-1, 2-0 ACC) on Sunday afternoon, 6-1. This is the second loss in conference play.

The Tigers dropped decisions on Court 1 and 2 in doubles. In singles, Clemson wasn’t able to quite rally past the Hurricanes’ two-set control. Jenna Thompson dominated once again securing the lone single point for Clemson with a two-set match victory of 6-4, 6-4 on Court 3. This is the sophomore’s 2nd consecutive singles win in conference competition.

Up Next: The Tigers travel to Chestnut Hill, Mass. to take on Boston College for a 3:00 pm scheduled contest.
