Alex Sapir Lists Two-House Florida Compound for $54 Million – DIRT
Though they initiated divorce proceedings last year, after almost 12 years of marriage, the lavish Miami Beach estate that Russian-born real estate investor, operator and developer Alex Sapir — the son of late billionaire Tamir Sapir — and his estranged wife Yanina once shared has only now become available for sale.
Consisting of side-by-side mansions resting on the exclusive Venetian Islands, directly overlooking Biscayne Bay, the asking price is a whopping $54 million. The homes also are listed separately by Dora Puig of Luxe Living Realty for $41.1 million and $12.9 million, should a buyer wish to purchase only one of the two separate parcels.
The properties were acquired by the Sapirs in two separate deals. The couple purchased a contemporary residence in 2018 for $17.3 million shortly after it was newly built, then picked up a smaller teardown home right next door in 2021 for $11.6 million. Together, the two-parcel spread spans over a half-acre of land and 150 feet of waterfront footage, and offers a total of 10 bedrooms and 12 baths in almost 12,200 square feet of living space.
Containing a little more than 7,800 square feet with five bedrooms and six baths, the contemporary main residence is highlighted by a family room that connects to a gourmet kitchen sporting an eat-in island and high-end stainless appliances, plus a glass-lined master retreat providing skyline views and a luxe bath. Amenities include an office, a library, movie theater and wine cellar, with the grassy backyard hosting a pool and spa, gazebo, kitchen and barbecue setup, and an expandable dock.
