A Brightline train hit a person in Miami. Traffic on two major streets is affected
A person on the train tracks was struck Monday morning and the investigation has part of Northeast 82nd Street shut down, Miami police said.
A Brightline train hit a man near Northeast 79th Street and Fourth Avenue around 10 a.m., Miami police said. While he was taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in serious condition, police cautioned drivers to avoid Northeast 82nd Street near Fourth Avenue.
Traffic on Northeast 79th Street between Fourth Avenue and Fifth Avenue also appears affected.
