Fred Voccola: Kaseya CEO expects 1,500 Miami employees next year

Fred Voccola, CEO of Kaseya, the leading provider of unified IT Management and Security Software for managed service providers and small to midsize businesses, was inspired to join the tech industry by his father, an “innovative technology professional,” as he describes him.

Mr. Voccola co-founded Identify Software, a company that developed application problem resolution (APR) software and solutions for enterprises. He served as chief operating officer, growing the business from $1 million to $60 million during his five-year tenure, resulting in the sale of the company to BMC Software, and he served as vice president of worldwide sales and services at BMC.

He also co-founded Trust Technology Corp., a leading FinTech platform for working capital management; served as president of Nolio Inc., a DevOps Software service company; became president and general manager of Yodle’s Brand Networks Division, providing digital and market automation solutions to small and medium businesses; and in 2015 joined Kaseya.

As CEO, he leads the vision, strategy and growth of Kaseya and its brands including Datto, Unitrends, Spanning Cloud Apps, Rapidfire Tools, IT Glue, Graphus, RocketCyber and ID Agent. Mr. Voccola was named one of the Top 50 SaaS CEOs of 2021 by The Software Report, a recognition he attributes to the effort of the entire company.

Mr. Voccola spoke with Miami Today reporter Gabriela Henriquez Stoikow.
