Miami Orthopaedic Society announced Gilbert D. Beauperthuy-Rojas, DO, FAAOS, as the new President
July 18, 2022 – Miami Orthopaedic Society announced the new Board of Directors, and Gilbert D. Beauperthuy-Rojas, DO, FAAOS, as the new President.
Dr. Beauperthuy-Rojas is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a national and international leader in treating sports injuries and degenerative conditions of the shoulder, hip, and knee. He emphasizes rapid recovery to enable his patients to return to work and sports and resume their daily life.
Dr. Beauperthuy-Rojas has been serving the Miami community for over 25 years and is the Medical Director of the Orthopedic Center at Coral Gables Hospital.
The new Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of MOS is composed of doctors Michele D’Apuzzo, MD, FAAOS, President-Elect; Victor H. Hernandez, MD, Secretary/Treasurer; and Giovanni Paraliticci, MD, and Christopher W. Hodgkins, MD as Directors, and Steven Gorin DO, MSEd, MBA, FAAOS, Immediate Past President.
