MIAMI REALTORS® names 2026 leadership ahead of annual meeting

The MIAMI Association of REALTORS® announced its 2026 leadership team ahead of its Inaugural & Awards Celebration, which will be held tomorrow at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.  

Former Miami Mayor Francis Suarez will be the keynote speaker.  

Alfredo Pujol 

Compass Coconut Grove Sales Manager Alfredo Pujol is the 2026 MIAMI Chairman of the Board. A Miami native, Pujol serves as a director of the National Association of REALTORS® and Florida REALTORS®. He’s also served as a Broward-Miami board governor since 2018 and as the 2023 president of Broward-Miami.  

“It’s an honor to serve the greatest association and real estate community in the world,” Pujol said. “We are One Miami. We are committed to strengthening our industry and empowering our members to serve their clients with excellence, now and in the future.”  

Dinorah de Cardenas 

Dinorah de Cardenas, who founded Real Estate Sales Force with her husband, 2027 Florida REALTORS® President Jorge Guerra Jr., was named 2026 MIAMI Residential President.  

“Stepping into this role is more than a title — it’s a commitment to every one of our members,” de Cardenas said. “In 2026, we plan on engaging with intention, empowering with purpose and elevating our industry together.” 

Denise Chambers Palmer 

Denise Chambers Palmer, the founder and managing broker of Keys to Legacy Realty, was named 2026 MIAMI Commercial President. 

Chambers Palmer served as MIAMI’s commercial governor for 2022, 2023 and 2024, and serves on the 2026 NAR Commercial Committee and as a Florida REALTORS® state director.  

“Leading the seventh-largest commercial Realtor association in the nation and the largest local real estate board in the United States is both an honor and a responsibility I embrace wholeheartedly,” Chambers Palmer said. “For 2026, our mission is to serve our members by focusing on three key pillars: membership engagement, providing targeted education and promoting the value we bring to help our members succeed.” 

Sophia Allen 

Sophia Allen, the broker and owner of The Real Estate Professionals in Plantation, was named 2026 Broward-MIAMI president. 

“This presidency represents responsibility, progress and influence,” Allen said. “I’m proud to lead Broward-MIAMI forward with strength, strategy and a commitment to elevating our profession and protecting the future of property ownership.” 

Jaime Kriske 

Jaime Kriske, a Hobe Sound Broker Associate for Coldwell Banker Realty in Stuart, was named 2026 president of Jupiter-Tequesta-Hobe Sound MIAMI.  

“Becoming a Realtor changed my life for the better and opened doors I never imagined,” Kriske said. “As president of JTHS-MIAMI, I’m committed to strengthening our Realtor community while ensuring we continue to serve and protect the consumers and neighborhoods that rely on us.” 

Darnell Aponte 

Darnell Aponte, founder of The Aponte Group powered by REAL Broker LLC, was named 2026 president of the MIAMI Young Professionals Network.  

Aponte is also a member of NAR’s Federal Technology Policy Committee and a past state director and governor of the Florida REALTORS YPN Board. 

“MIAMI YPN is about people, service, and creating space for others to grow,” Aponte said. “Our focus is on bringing people with us, building the next generation of leaders, and continuing the work that strengthens our profession and our community.”
