Miami crews pull abandoned boats from city waters, warn owners of fines and arrests

Miami’s Marine Patrol is clearing abandoned and wrecked boats from the water near Miami Marine Stadium and Dinner Key, pulling out at least three vessels. Officials say these derelict boats damage seagrass and coral reefs, and owners could face fines, arrests, and repayment for removal costs.
