CDC updates childhood immunization schedule, recommends fewer routine vaccines

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has revised its childhood immunization schedule to recommend fewer routine vaccines, now covering 11 diseases, drawing opposition from the American Academy of Pediatrics, while the Trump administration says insurance will still cover shots for families who choose to get them.
