Lil Wayne’s Former Miami Beach Home Sells for $33M
Just weeks after billionaire Google co-founder Sergey Brin paid $51 million for a Miami Beach home, Lil Wayne’s former mansion on the same island sold for $33.3 million.
Alicia R. Zadravec sold the home at 6480 Allison Road after listing it for $36 million in December, Douglas Elliman’s Cyril Matz confirmed. The deed has yet to appear in public records and the buyer is unknown.
Matz had the listing, and Elliman’s Dina Goldentayer brought the buyer.
It is the second-most expensive home ever sold on the island. The sale marks a $10.7 million price increase since Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne sold it for $22.6 million in 2023. Matz pointed to Miami Beach’s limited inventory of new construction high end homes as a key driver of the price.
The Allison Road home was built in 2017 on a 0.6-acre lot, records show. The 10,300-square-foot mansion was designed by Choeff Levy Fischman and includes seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, two half-bathrooms and a pool. The property also has 110 feet of waterfront with a dock, the listing shows.
Security-minded luxury buyers have flocked to Allison Island in recent years as one of the guard-gated island communities in Miami Beach.
“As great as North Bay Road is,” said Matz, “There are people who want to be in gated communities.”
Among them is Brin, who bought the 1-acre waterfront estate of LVMH CEO Michael Burke earlier this month. It topped the island’s previous price record, set last year when Karlton Companies sold a waterfront spec mansion for $31.5 million.
Brin is part of a wave of tech billionaires scooping up luxury homes in Miami this season. Google co-founder Larry Page paid $188 million for three Coconut Grove homes earlier this winter. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan dropped a record $170 million on an Indian Creek Island estate last month, making it the most expensive home ever sold in Miami-Dade County.
