The Ten Best Free Concerts in Miami This March 2026

They say money can’t buy happiness, and while money definitely makes life easier, it’s not the bar to entry if you’re looking for good tunes and a good time.

This city is bristling with talent and opportunity. You just need to know where to look. Thankfully for you, we’ve scoured the free concert options throughout the month of March, and there’s a bounty to behold.

Whether you’re in the mood for jazz, opera, pop gone orchestral, dark wave, house music, jam band vibes, or just wanna see what the youth of Miami has cooking up their sleeves, March has more free music than you can shake a stick at. Who shakes sticks? We don’t know, but stop shaking sticks and start shaking your booty.

Jazz at the Betsy

Need to jazz up your life? The Betsy Hotel’s Piano Bar is always riffing with some of the best in the area, offering a variety of jazz headliners every night of the week. This month’s programming promises performances from UM alumnus Felxi Gomez, local singer Carole Ann Taylor with the Angel trio, Cuban and Puerto Rican flavor from Edgar Pantoja and Gabriel Ramon Placido, and much more. Varying dates and times, at the Betsy Hotel’s Piano Bar, 1440 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, thebetsyhotel.com/calendar.

Sex Drive

Who said Chamber music had to be stuffy? The Miami Symphony Orchestra invites music lovers of all ages to enjoy classical-style composition amid the painting and sculptures of the Coral Gables Museum, but as a means to keep the audience engaged and change its perspective on “chamber music,” a piece by Mozart will give way to contemporary tunes. The set list for this concert includes hits by Ed Sheeran, Dolly Parton, the Beatles, Bee Gees, Michael Jackson and more. Explore the sophisticated roots of pop music and elevate timeless classics in a family-friendly atmosphere that’s as educational and thought-provoking as it is plain old fun. 4 to 5 p.m, Saturday, March 21, at the Coral Gables Museum, 285 Aragon Ave., Coral Gables, eventbrite.com.
