MIAMI — The Miami Marlins on Friday have named the managers for their full-season minor league affiliates for the 2026 season.

David Carpenter will return as manager of the Triple-A Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp after leading the team to the International League title in 2025, the first Triple-A championship for a Marlins affiliate.

Carpenter, a former Major League pitcher, joined the Marlins organization in 2025 after managing in the MLB Draft League and serving as a college pitching coach.

Nelson Prada will begin his second season managing the Double-A Pensacola Blue Wahoos.

Prada has also managed Single-A Jupiter and the Dominican Summer League, and previously spent 25 years in the Phillies and Twins organizations. He has served as manager of Spain’s national team for the past five years.

Angel Espada will lead High-A Beloit Sky Carp for a second season. A longtime member of the Marlins’ player development system, Espada was named the organization’s Staff Member of the Year in 2025 after guiding Beloit to its first postseason berth since 2018.

Kyle Stahlberg joins the Marlins as manager of the Single-A Jupiter Hammerheads. Stahlberg spent the past three seasons coaching at Cuyahoga Community College in Ohio, leading the team to back-to-back conference championships and a 41-game winning streak in 2025.

The Marlins also announced the full coaching staffs for each affiliate, including pitching and hitting coaches, assistants, trainers, and support staff.
