Ceremionial Groundbreaking Set for ‘UniDos’ at 1445 N Miami Ave, Miami, FL
Florida YIMBY has an update regarding a highly anticipated mixed-use venture set for Miami’s Omni District.
The ceremonial groundbreaking is set for UniDos (also known as Uni + Dos) for late February. Upon completion, the venture will comprise 398 residences in 31 stories. The homes will be designated as income-restricted and affordable housing units, ranging from microunits to two-bedroom homes. Most recent plans show that the residences will span floors eight through 31, and the residential portion alone would span more than 400,000 square feet of new construction.

UniDos is set to feature more than 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities, including a resort-style swimming pool, outdoor lounge areas, and a fitness center. Residents would also have access to 451 parking spots, meaning that each unit is guaranteed at least one space. In addition to the residential aspect, UniDos would host 8,539 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
NR Investments is developing the project in partnership with the City of Miami. Corwil Architects designed the building. From Floridian Development: “the tower will feature a contemporary facade defined by gray balconies and a palette of white and gray tones.” At its tallest point, the building will measure 312 feet high.
UniDos is planned for 1445 N Miami Ave, Miami, FL, 33136, in Miami-Dade County.
