What does the Miami E-Prix circuit look like?

Feature by Katy Fairman

The 2026 Miami E-Prix takes place this week, and will be sure to deliver awesome racing action on track and host huge celebrities off track. It’s the third round of the 2025/26 season, and will be a new circuit for the championship over an E-Prix weekend.

PREVIEW: Formula E heads to the Sunshine State for Round 3 in Miami

This isn’t totally unfamiliar territory though, with the Miami International Autodrome hosting the popular Evo Sessions last season, where big names like Brooklyn Beckham, Tom Felton and Sergio Agüero all got the chance to be tutored by our very own Formula E racing drivers to try and set the best lap times.

Where does Formula E race in Miami?

As mentioned, this season the all-electric championship will be heading to the Miami International Autodrome on Saturday 31 January for Round 3 of Season 12. The state of Florida has previously hosted Formula E twice before, with races at the Biscayne Bay Street Circuit and Homestead–Miami Speedway.

This year though Formula E will be racing at the Miami International Autodrome, located in Miami Gardens. The circuit is a purpose-built temporary circuit which is designed around the Hard Rock Stadium, which is home to the NFL’s Miami Dolphins!

Formula E’s version of the circuit stretches 2.32km in length and consists of 14 turns. The grid will race down the start-finish straight and head into the right-hand first corner, before swooping through a series of fast and flowing turns.

EXPLAINED: What does a Formula E race weekend look like, and what’s the format?

There will be a chance for drivers to push their GEN3 Evos to the limits between Turns 8 and 11 as the track straightens out albeit with a few kinks. The long stretches of track continue into Turn 13, before a tight hairpin and subsequent corner bring a lap of this track to an end.

It looks set to be a fun lap to drive, with plenty of overtaking opportunities.
