Authorities are investigating a crash in Lauderdale Lakes involving a Broward Sheriff’s Office cruiser and a large white van at State Road 7 and West Oakland Park Boulevard, just east of the Turnpike. There’s no word yet on injuries or what caused the collision. The update came as South Florida dealt with stray showers, gray skies and dropping temperatures, with meteorologists warning that colder conditions are on the way.
