Search for fugitive continues after Miami-Dade deputy-involved shooting
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY — Deputies continued their search on Monday night for a fugitive who fled after a traffic stop and a shooting in Miami-Dade County.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies found the suspect in a stolen car on Sunday night near Northwest 95 Street and 17th Avenue.
A deputy and the suspect had a struggle before the deputy fired, and the suspect ran away — leaving the stolen car behind, according to deputies.
Detectives asked anyone with information about the case to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477 to remain anonymous.
