Miami Reveals All-White Uniforms for Cotton Bowl CFP Game vs. Ohio State in New Photo
Miami isn’t messing with a winning formula.
The Hurricanes will wear their all-white road uniforms for Wednesday’s Cotton Bowl battle against Ohio State:
They had the same look for their 10-3 victory over Texas A&M in the opening round of the College Football Playoff.
The Canes may have avoided the green pants with the white jersey, the color combo they had when they last lifted a national title, because that’s what they donned in their road loss to SMU on Nov. 1.
In order to make it two CFP wins in a row, head coach Mario Cristobal knows a better performance is required against the second-seeded Buckeyes.
Miami had 278 total yards and went 3-of-12 on third downs when matched up with the Aggies. Starting quarterback Carson Beck went 14-of-20 for 103 yards and a touchdown.
That’s not going to cut it against an Ohio State offense that’s averaging 429.5 yards and 34.9 points per game.
