Potential threat prompts evacuation at Zoo Miami

MIAMI, Fla. (CBS12) — Zoo Miami announced that a potential threat was made against them on Tuesday morning.

While authorities said that they believe it may be a hoax, staff members were evacuated, and a security sweep of the park is taking place.

Zoo Miami said that the inspection is expected to last several hours, causing a delayed opening for the zoo today.
