Miami Gardens house party shooting leaves 2 dead, 1 wounded
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Miami Gardens police are investigating a shooting that they said left two people dead and another wounded early Tuesday morning.
Officers said they were dispatched around 12:45 a.m. to the 1900 block of Northwest 175th Street following reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, police said they found three people suffering from gunshot wounds.
They said a party was taking place at the residence when shots were fired.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported one victim by ground and airlifted two others to a local hospital. They said two of the victims later died at the hospital.
Local 10’s Hannah Yechivi spoke with a neighbor who said she was shaken after hearing music playing before shots were fired in what she described as a “quiet neighborhood.”
The neighbor said she believes teenagers were involved in the shooting.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No other details were immediately released.
