Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl (Tucson, Arizona)

Bowl week is here as Miami Football looks to defend their bowl title! The RedHawks run it back to Tucson, Arizona to battle Fresno State in the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl Presented by Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop this Saturday. The game will kick off at 4:30 p.m. ET at Casino Del Sol Stadium and be broadcast on The CW Network. Tickets are available now for the bowl game in the Miami sections. Stay tuned to MiamiRedHawks.com and Bowl Central for all the information on upcoming events around the bowl game and watch parties across the country.

BOWL RELEASE

Puzo Named National Coach of the Year; Sabez Named National Rookie of the Year

Iñako Puzo was named National Field Hockey Coach of the Year, while Malena Sabez was named National Rookie of the Year by Synapse Sports. Puzo joins Enrico Blasi (Ice Hockey, 2005-06, 2009-10), George Gwozdecky (Ice Hockey, 1992-93) and Vicki Korn (Synchronized Skating, 1997/1999/2007) as the only coaches in Miami history to garner national coach of the year accolades.

Additionally, Berta Mata was named Second-Team All-America and Sabez earned Third-Team All-America by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). Miami captured six other Synapse Sports recognitions. Mata was named First-Team All-American and Sabez added Second-Team All-American honors as well a spot on the national all-rookie team. Joining Sabez on the all-rookie team were Jülia Fernandez, Bet Gifra and Justina Intzes.

Miami Student-Athletes Produce 3.34 GPA in Fall Semester

Miami University student-athletes continued their academic success in the university’s fall 2025 semester. The RedHawks’ entire group of student-athletes combined to post a 3.34 grade-point average, marking the 42nd-straight semester with a collective student-athlete GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Great Lakes Invitational (Grand Rapids, Mich.)

Miami Hockey heads to the Great Lakes Invitational Dec. 28-29 to round out the 2025 calendar year, taking an 8-0 non-conference record into the tournament. The RedHawks next return to Steve “Coach” Cady Arena Jan. 16-17 when they host Omaha. Puck drop on Friday is 7:05 p.m. and 6:05 on Saturday. Get your tickets today!

Miami Men’s Basketball

Tue., Dec. 30 at Bowling Green, 7 p.m. (ESPN+)

Sat., Jan. 3 vs. Akron, 3:30 p.m. (Doubleheader) (ESPN+)

Adding to their historic start, Miami Men’s Basketball collected road wins at Wright State last Tuesday, a MAC-opening win at Ball State last Saturday and a dominant win over Milligan Monday at Millett Hall to move to 13-0 on the season,1-0 in conference action and extend their home win streak to 22 straight. Miami travels to Bowling Green for a 7 p.m. game on Tuesday, Dec. 30 before returning home to play the second game of a Miami Basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 3, hosting Akron at 3:30 p.m. in a rematch of the MAC Tournament Championship game. There will be a carnival on the concourse with inflatables and games, frisbee dogs perform at halftime of both games and autograph sessions with Miami women’s basketball, hockey and men’s basketball throughout the day. Miami Women’s Basketball secured a 66-50 win against Green Bay last Saturday to remain undefeated at Millett Hall. The RedHawks travel to Kent State for a 12 p.m. game on New Years Eve before returning home to play the first game of a Miami Basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 3, hosting Toledo at 1 p.m. There will be a carnival on the concourse with inflatables and games, frisbee dogs perform at halftime of both games and autograph sessions with Miami women’s basketball, hockey and men’s basketball throughout the day. Get your tickets today!

HawkTawk Pauses for the Holidays

HawkTawk (presented by Ohio’s 529 CollegeAdvantage) is on pause for the holidays and will return after the new year with a new time of noon. Miami RedHawks coaches and student-athletes are featured on Thursdays to recap the most recent games and look ahead to upcoming action. The next show at LaRosa’s in Oxford is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 9 at 12 p.m.
