Regionally, Latin America accounted for 29% of all foreign real estate investments across the United States. This share of the real estate market is growing year after year, largely attributed to political and economic instability in South American countries in particular.

The report provides the following highlights:

– 91% of buyers acquire a property for investment purposes, whether for permanent rental, vacation rentals, or a mix of both.

– 68% pay with cash, reflecting strong liquidity and the decision to dollarize savings in the face of local economic instability.
