Two playoff hopefuls square off in a marquee matchup on a busy Sunday in Major League Soccer, as Inter Miami pays a visit to in-state rival Orlando City.

Both sides come out of the Leagues Cup break looking to better their chances of moving up into a spot where they would have home-field advantage in the first round of the MLS Cup Playoffs.
Inter Miami was dealt a blow during the opening phase of the Leagues Cup after superstar Lionel Messi went down with an injury. They come out of the pause looking to find some consistency in MLS action, something the squad has struggled with recently. While they won three matches in a row to start off July, tough results against FC Cincinnati kept them out of the top four.
Orlando picked up points in four of its last five league matches before the break, including wins over the New England Revolution and Columbus Crew.
Miami is fifth in the Eastern Conference, two points back of the Crew for fourth. Orlando is sixth in the East, one point back of Miami, and eight ahead of 10th place.
